A wander around Henley in Arden through woodland, a nature reserve and across open farmland. There are no big hills to climb, but there are some ups and downs as we cross the rolling countryside on farm tracks, country footpaths, open fields and woodland paths. Hopefully there won't be too much mud at this time of year but there are abundant springs and some boggy fields so good footwear is a must.
We pass through a very smart stables, so you might spot the winner of a future big race and cross the Stratford upon Avon Canal twice. There is also evidence of a disused railway line for the anoraks.
Bring a packed lunch and plenty of fluids as there is no option to purchase refreshments once on the walk. Dress for the weather on the day. There are plenty of places to get tea/coffee/beer at the end of the walk or if you prefer you can sample one of the famous Henley ice creams.
