A circular walk of 7.7 miles in Welwyn Garden City and some of the surrounding countryside. Features of this walk include the scenic gardens at Parkway, some public art, Stanborough Lakes, Watermill Museum, a golf course and the industrial area, which includes some iconic listed buildings.

On the final test of the walk on 03Feb2018, we found very few toilet opportunities on this walk.  All of the route is urban, with no useful tree cover, except in one place (!) after lunch and the Howard Shopping Centre at the end of the walk.  What facilities were available in summer are closed for winter.

Wear sturdy boots. Bring packed lunch and something to sit on.
