Llandeilo to Llandybie - part of final leg of HOW trail
From Llandeilo the trail climbs into the western fringe of the Brecon Beacons National park with the imposing site of Carreg Cennen castle, soon in sight.
The path rises to the high ground of Carreg Dwfn, at one time a hotspot of quarrying.
We then pass through the hamlet of Llandyfan and follow a woodland ridge through to the old village of Llandybie.
