Due to the weather forecasts of lightining storms and torrential rain for tomorrow the walk has been postponed - much of the walk is on high and exposed ground. 

The walk will take place at a later date - details to be posted here when it is arranged.

A 6.5 mile walk from Cadbury Castle - a Bronze and Iron Age Hillfort ( and formerly known as Camalet ) - taking in Corton Hill and Corton Denham then up to onto Corton Ridge and heading back towards the Castle.

A few short steep climbs during the first half of the walk, but a more gentle second part of the walk. Possible short stop for a drink at the pub in Corton Denham ( "The Queens Arms") during the walk depending on time and how busy the pub is.

Mainly country walking with 7 stiles and a few climbs - some stretches of quiet road/lane walking at the beginning and end parts of the walk.

Option to eat at the end of the walk either at the "Queens Arms" in Corton Denham or the even more nearby pub "The Camelot" for those who may like to do so.
