This is a walk to commemorate Ray Goodey, Essex co-ordinator for many years throughout the 90s and until after the Millenium. Ray continued to be an active member of GOC, and continued to organise the "4 Counties" weekends for a good few years after that. He walked regularly with the Essex group whilst his age and health allowed. Sadly, Ray died aged 90, early last year during the lockdown. This meant that this walk had to be postponed. So now we are pleased to announce this memorial walk will go ahead on Sun, 22nd August.
