A countryside walk taking in three churches (one Commonwealth Period, one Saxon and one pre-historic), two Stately Public Schools and the River Trent. The walk goes through a varied area of South Derbyshire with plenty of historic sights, rural and riverside views, and country villages. The walk is fairly flat with some short easy rises to beautiful views.
