This 8.5 mile ramble takes in many of the man-made lakes that have been created in recent years alongside the Trent. Starting at Branston, a place that gave pickle to the world, the majority of the walk is alongside water. This makes it a perfect day out for wildlife lovers and bird spotters as well as keen ramblers.

The route includes Barton Marina, Tuckleshome Lake and Branston Water Park and is an easy, largely flat route. The start and finish point is by a pub with a beautiful garden - to enjoy a post-walk tipple.
