This is an afternoon walk getting to know the centre of Worcester and it's impressive buildings and meeting up with the other women on this weekend.

Worcester has the River Severn running through it and the Worcester and Birmingham canal.

We will start outside the cathedral and return there at the end, for women to go inside and have a look inside.

We will walk along the river  on The Severn Way to Diglis House Hotel and The Museum of Royal Worcester.

We will see a Tudor house and Greyfriars, a beautiful timber framed merchant's house built in 1481.

At the Cornmarket there are small statues of famous people connected to Worcester, such as Shakespeare ans Anne Hathaway.

Other buildings include the Victoria Institute founded to celebrate Queen Victoria's Jubilee, Worcester Art gallery and museum, and The Hive, a large golden

building open by The Queen in 2012. It is a fully integrated university and public library housing over a quarter of a million books and 12 miles of archive

collections.

We will end at a cafe for drinks and then end at the Cathedral so some can go inside if they wish--no charge.
