On the 27th March Gordon led 18 of us on a scenic moderately strenuous walk from Newlands Corner.

The weather was glorious,  we made our way across Pewley Down before reaching Merrow Down and its ancient Yew trees.

Then onwards to Climb St Martha's Hill for lunch with views across the downs.

We agreed  to take the longer route back to Newlands Corner with a few more inclines.

Tea & Coffee were very welcome as were the array of culinary delights. Many thanks to Gordon for a most enjoyable walk.
